Most Clubs have member days on Saturdays and Wednesdays. Visitors should verify availability well in advance for these days.
Summer in Cape Town is usually dry and the winter rains are infrequent enough to allow plenty of opportunity to play.
South Africans enjoy a halfway house tradition of enjoying refreshments after nine holes. Divots are not replaced on South African courses.
Sandbags are issued and the divots are filled with sand.
Caddies are available at most courses. Exceptions are on cart only estates and at certain golf and housing estates.
Golf carts are limited on many of the courses and bookings are advised.
