With over 10 years experience in organising workshops, conferences and events for both Local & National Government , USAID, UNAIDS, World Health Organisation, NGO's and CBO's in Southern Africa.

The Conference & Travel Company have managed national projects, rolling out up to 40 provincial workshops nationally and simultaneously. From small meetings to national conferences, national campaigns and awareness programmes, The Conference & Travel Company has vast experience, working in this area. Our work has carried itself, by word of mouth and refferrals, and our level of professionalism has spoken for itself over the years. Working on tight timelines and deadlines, we produce the goods.

The Conference & Travel Company team cover all aspects of conferencing, from handling rsvp's, booking flights, confirming all workshop / conference logistics, registration, speakers, MC's, notetakers, recording, report writing, entertainment and all details relating to the provision of professional services, for a successful, smooth sailing conference.

10 % of Profit is channelled in YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The Conference & Travel Company have been leaders in the field of Social Responsibility, investing a percentage of profits into youth development programmes, namely, the YLTP programme ( www.yltp.org.za ), which looks at equipping youth with the skills to become role models and leaders in their communities.

The Conference & Travel Company believe that investing in the Country's youth, is key to building a healthy nation. Youth are also given opportunities to develop skills through assisting with conferences and workshops, thereby building capacity and building experience.

BEE and SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

The Conference & Travel Company is predominantly run by women and has 40% BEE component. The Conference & Travel Company support skills development through being actively involved and supporting a powerful Youth Development Programme.

Our specialist areas

Our focus is to ensure that all angles of logistics surrounding projects and workshops are taken care of, in order for workshop facilitators to deliver their objectives. Our experience covers working with Governments, NGO's and CBO's, most particularly in the field of HIV and AIDS, in organising workshops, conferences, events and projects. We cover logistics, administration, budgets and all aspects relating to the above.

LOGISTICS:

Working with the client to source the most suitable venue(s) from our large data base of venues.
Inviting local, regional and international delegates as well as:
Co-ordinating all RSVPs
Co-ordinating all flight, airport transfer and car hire requirements
Co-ordinating all accommodation requirements as well as any special requests eg dietary, health.
Arrangement of special interest and sight seeing tours
Arrangement of entertainment, gala dinners, themed evenings as may be required.
Secretarial / Multimedia consultants and technicians to support facilitators and presenters with their programme requirements.

ADMINISTRATION:

In addition to the administration services associated with the logistical services above we will also draw up detailed budgets and quotations as per request and will administer and reconcile all accounts as relating to the workshop, conference or event. We will also correlate all workshop material for participants and presenters and can supply note taking, report writing and interpretation services.

Our ownership and BEE (black economic empowerment) status:

We are a largely female owned and run business. Our principle owner has dedicated
her life to working in those communities in need of upliftment and
empowerment and it was with this in mind that the she founded the company as a way of both working with the communities and contributing towards them. A percentage of our proceeds is returned to these communities through community projects and workshops as well as through the personal involvement of the owners. We are 40 % black empowered and are constantly transforming our business to adequately reflect the scope of both our work and the people we work with.
