It’s a place for friends and family to meet, eat good food and drink great wine. Sit outside in the sun under sprawling oak trees or in a walled-off, child-friendly corner beside the playground in summer; in winter the fire is blazing inside with good music, newspapers and magazines to amuse. The hub of the local community, we offer a fresh, seasonal menu, with a clipboard specials menu that changes daily, for lunch and dinner. Expect uncomplicated café food for breakfast and lunch, and the chef’s added touch for dinner, along with homemade cakes, scones, muffins and tarts, freshly baked in-house and served throughout the day. You’ll find live music on Sundays, and in the evenings stand-up comedy/live concerts at our Café Roux sessions with the Wolf Trap, and always good times, good wine and excellent food.
