Down a quiet country lane, a stone's throw from an incredible expanse of white sands and turquoise sea, embraced by magnificent mountains to its back and sides, lies the lush valley of Noordhoek, and at its heart: Sacred Mountain Lodge. This tranquil and enchanting experience is steeped in history, holding many secrets of the Valley's past.

Surrounded by the peaks of Table Mountain National Park on three sides and the ocean to the front, approaching from Chapman's Peak Drive, the views and sunsets across the waters are nothing short of spectacular!

Sacred Mountain Lodge took its name from the most hallowed symbol of Cape Town - Table Mountain. Sacred Mountain Lodge has an enviable position surrounded by the peaks of Table Mountain National Park on three sides and the ocean to the front. Approaching from Chapman's Peak Drive, the views and sunsets across the waters from Hout Bay to Kommetjie are nothing short of spectacular!

The inspiration for naming our beautiful guest house 'Sacred Mountain Lodge' came from the book 'Table Mountain to Cape Point' by Carrie Hampton, where in her 'Sacred Mountain' chapter she says; "Table Mountain is known as the most potent symbol of Africa, representing freedom in every sense of the word, and has been likened to a fortress, a sleeping goddess, a stairway to heaven, a guardian of the city, a warrior and watcher of the south, considered sacred for the living forces at work behind nature."

Squirrel Cottage
Situated separately from the other cottages and suites, at the front of the Lodge, offering complete privacy and tranquillity. Leading onto it's own patio under the trees facing a little garden bed. Double bedroom with spacious en-suite, tea & coffee making facilities. .

Oak Tree Cottage
A wonderfully unique cottage, situated beneath the 100 year old Oak trees overlooking a tranquil, forested garden. A favourite for romantic couples, decorated in Oregan furniture from a bygone era, and offers a queen sized bedroom en-suite (oversized shower); a soothing lounge with DSTV and gorgeously cozy wood-burning fireplace, luxury double sleeper couch, with separate fully equipped kitchenette. The patio and private braai facility gives one the feeling of privacy and complete serenity.

Clydesdale Suite
Otherwise known as our honeymoon suite, spacious and luxurious - the decor is one of wooden floors, high ceilings with chandeliers, suede curtains and a luxury full bathroom with large bath and glass shower; queen sized bed with open plan lounge, little dining table to seat 4, a luxury double sleeper couch and separate fully equipped Oregan and stainless kitchenette.

Acorn Cottage
This delightfully warm and welcoming cottage is situated underneath the 100 year old oaks, and opens onto a secluded patio and tranquil garden with private Weber braai. Furnishings present the period ambiance of a bygone era, offering king/twin beds, shower & toilet, separate lounge with DSTV, luxury double sleeper couch, tea & coffee facility. Sitting on Acorn’s patio in front of your Weber braai with a glass of wine in hand, leaves one with the sensation of pure, unspoilt memories!

Vine Luxury Family Cottage
Luxurious, private and tranquil, offers 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, (one queen and one king/twin suite), with large open plan lounge and luxury double sleeper couch, fully equipped kitchen and breakfast bar, finished in oregan slate and glass, leading onto a completely private and enclosed lush garden. Separate DSTV’s for each sitting room. Hear the horses frolicking in the paddock over the fence. Idyllic....
